Former vision – rationale of existence
Everything starts with Awareness. Project Aware represented that, what every person stands for; freedom. Freedom is the foundation of live; everywhere in the world, for everyone; freedom of expression without damaging someone else's freedom.

Freedom is a universal right. Because millions of people in history gave their lives for a world in which respect and freedom form the base of a peaceful society, Project Aware called upon us all to end torture and oppression once and for all.

Former mission - goal
Project Aware started a process of Awareness and send out a signal in favour of freedom. Project's Aware aim was to end the worst forms of deprivation of freedom; torture and oppression.

Freedom. Project Aware made people Aware of the importance of freedom.

Former strategy - approach
Project Aware used the zero-costs-method and operated completely on sponsoring by third parties, volunteers and interns. She did not ask her supporters for money, but Awareness. By not asking for money it's intention remained pure and guaranteed.

Through her SBU's Project Aware reached its public worldwide and asked everyone to support its mission by voting for freedom. Anyone could vote for freedom by leaving a digital signature on the Project Aware website. These votes resulted in Project Aware's counter which is continuously communicated. The counter worked as a powerful motivation and communication means. It showed that it is possible take responsibility for freedom together.
