  1. Project Aware communicated its message through various channels

    • word-of-mouth (Aware Support)
    • promotional products (Aware Merchandise)
    • art (Aware Art)
    • schools (Kids Aware & Young Aware)
    • festivals and events (Aware Events)
    • media (Aware Products)
    • international expansion (Aware International)
  2. The Awareness process

    • Project Aware reached people through its message and informative role. The process of Awareness began.
  3. Support

    • Once you really are aware of the message you could drop your digital signature as a sign of support; the counter increases.
  4. The counter

    • The counter measures the Awareness process
    • The counter is communicated to the world
    • The counter motivates people to become Aware
  5. The chain reaction

    • Everywhere people started activitities to make others Aware.
  6. A large number of supporters

    a. The supporters (short term)
    • Stake towards society: they make up the society
    • Stake towards Project Aware: they make Project Aware grow

By communicating the current number of supporters, Project Aware motivated future supporters. The big numbers showed how important freedom is for everybody and gave Project Aware a platform to be heard. It became more clear that the goal can only be reached with everybody's voice.

    • Overlapping interests: freedom, freedom of speech

    b. The opinion leaders (short term)
    • Stake towards society: they influence society
    • Stake towards Project Aware: they put freedom on the public agenda

The opinion leader, like no other, was aware of his or her freedom and most importantly freedom of press. Freedom of speech and the differences in opinion are often the foundations of a good item; freedom is always up to date. By creating awareness for Project Aware, the opinion leader attributed to the process.

    • Overlapping interests: freedom of speech and press

    c. The media (short term)
    • Stake towards society: they reach the society
    • Stake towards Project Aware: they create attention for freedom

The media have an interest in freedom (of press) and anticipate on things that go on in society. They were the means with which our message was communicated and thefore speeded up the process.

    • Overlapping interests: freedom of speech and press

    d. The business community (short term)
    • Stake towards society: they serve society
    • Stake towards Project Aware: they supply the means and services to realise the growth

The business community and society are inevitably connected to each other. Nowadays it is impossible to be succesfull in business without your stakeholders. Everyone in your environment is important and so are their interests. Freedom is for everybody, including businesses. They saw the value of the process and attributed to it by taking their public responsibility en showed they support the message.

    • Overlapping interests: freedom of entrepreneurship/ C.S.R

    e. Project Aware employees (short term)
    • Stake towards society: they are part of society
    • Stake towards Project Aware: they work on Project Aware's mission

The employees, who were professionals, volunteers and interns were people who believe freedom is important. They spend time and knowledge on the organsation because they were not completely satisfied by their paid jobs.
Project Aware did not have cash flows and so, the employees did not get a financial reward. They did, however, gain personal growth from their former activities for Project Aware.

    • Overlapping interests: freedom, freedom of speech

    f. The related organisations (short/long term)
    • Stake towards society: they also try to change the world
    • Stake towards Project Aware: they join forces with Project Aware

Organisations with the same cause as Project Aware (e.g human rights organisations) were touched by the message. Project Aware formed a portal here; the attention for, and actions of, Project Aware resulted in possitive side effects for them. Therefore, they, in their turn, played an active part for Project Aware.

    • Overlapping interests: mutual goal: freedom

    g. The political world (long term)

    • Stake towards society: they represent the people
    • Stake towards Project Aware: they put freedom on the political agenda

The policimakers, being representatives of the people, are responsible to defend the interests of the people. Two aspects are universal: freedom and human rights. Why are these not on every political agenda? As the counter grew the policimakers will actively contribute to ending torture and oppression.

    • Overlapping interest: freedom, representation of the people
  7. Human rights are employed and respected

    • A foundation of freedom arises in which everyone can live.
