Project Aware starts a process of Awareness, we open people’s eyes and make them Aware of the fact that freedom is not natural to everyone. By way of a modern petition we appeal to everyone to donate their e-mail addresses as a token of their support.

Project Aware cries out for attention because we are the voice of their silence…and, to reach as wide an audience as possible, we have divided our activities in several projects.

Initiator and singer-songwriter Atreya uses her music, and the performances she is asked for to make her audience Aware.

Media attention is our core business; Project Aware gets the attention it deserves through several forms of media. A wide range of leading businesses support us already: Project Aware can be seen on, for example, MTV, Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channel on a daily basis.

The visitor becomes Aware through several wonderful artistic expressions. A number of artists show their vision on freedom of expression, inspired by everything Project Aware stands for, in Aware Art.

The children are the future, and Project Aware, not asking for money, enables children to support us at a young age in a way that relates to them. KidsAware and Dare2Care were initiated for both children and teenagers.
