Project Aware stoods alongside other human rights organisations who worked according to the classic methods (e.g fundraising). Project Aware strived to add another dimension to these organisations. Making people Aware of human rights violations was Project Aware’s core business.
Project Aware acted as a portal between human rights organisations and the public. By pointing out the facts about human rights violations, people were asked to act against torture and oppression. Project Aware only needed people to drop their digital signature on the website, in order to make the counter grow. However, visitors could also find links on the website to other organisations which they could additionally join or support.
