The Tibetan protests before and during the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008 triggered worldwide (media) attention for the Tibetan case and human rights in general. Unfortunately, all this awareness did not lead to any improvements on the area of human rights in China or in any other countries. This means that still many people live in fear rather than freedom and the violation of human rights, torture and oppression continues undisturbed!

Reason for Project Aware to carry on her mission with her same, well-known enthusiasm and continue to call upon everybody who feels freedom is important.

Dance4Freedom 2008, huge success!

Project Aware let it all hang out with the third edtion of Dance4Freedom, the party for everyone who believes that freedom is important.

The new and trendy party area WesterUnie, located in the Westergasfabriek-complex, was filled this night with top DJ's, exiting acts and party people who value freedom.

New faces

In cooperation with photographer Krijn van Noordwijk, make-up artist Schreeuw om Stijl, eleven fantastic models of our sponsor TRCP Models and in line with our corporate identity Project Aware produced some wonderful stills to draw the attention and communicate out message towards various media. All of the below break free from a situation where torture and oppression are clearly felt but these new faces clearly stand for the most important aspect of ever individual namely, freedom!
